A hundred or so years ago, a number of anomalous humanoids and entities had begun to be documented around the world. Singular beings that didn't quite fit into the realm of "demihuman" and took on a more legendary status, including one that is only officially known as the "Stray Signal," or Paz, as many also call her after her first recorded interaction in Russia. Little is known of her origin besides this first sighting in the 60's, and little still how she manages to keep appearing around the world in various cities and towns, some hundreds or thousands of miles away from her last sighting. All that is known is that she hunts humans for sport, ripping them open and apart with her bare hands, and that her voice can only be heard by her targets, primarily coming through the radio she is oft seen cradling in her arms, as well as any speakers close by to the chosen victim. Her voice is almost ethereal, often disguised as cries for help from those the victim is close to, hiding the distorted and staticking mess that is her true voice. Despite her bloody hunts, she only eats metals, more specifically those used in electronics, and has been observed removing one of her eyeballs to consume her pickings by those lucky enough to catch her in the act of feeding.
